This session is, quite honestly, way overdue to share and one of my absolute favorite sessions to date! While I do consider myself to be a Lifestyle Family Photographer across the board, there is just something so intimate about in home lifestyle family sessions. After all, home is where the heart is, right? I am definitely pushing to do more of these in the future and they are perfect for the off seasons, like winter and summer, where its either too hot or too cold to be outside.
These sessions are really tailored towards each individual client. I want to get to know you and your family. Find out what things you like to do together and then incorporate ideas into your session that really compliment who you are. All fur babies are welcome too, as you can see from the Poort Family!
First let me say, that Meghan’s house is amazingly beautiful. It was a dream to photograph her family in her newly renovated home. It definitely does not look like a typical Vegas house but so fitting for her personality and her family! We stuck with beautiful soft tones to compliment the natural color palette of her home. Also, there is something timeless and classic about using soft color palette’s for indoor sessions. We started with a few portraits around the house just snuggling and playing then migrated to the kitchen to document them baking cookies together. I spent about two hours in their home and loved every single moment of it. Plus, I love handing over the huge gallery of amazingness once its completed!
