Wanted to share something personal… So I have been dealing with a health issue for a very long time. Like 20 years! However, in the last few years it’s gotten worse. Probably due to stress but what can you do with that sometimes except walk through the valleys of life and wait for the next mountain. I finally decided to go through the process of finding out the cause of it. It’s been over a year that I have been seeing multiple doctors and have done an array of testing. I FINALLY have a diagnosis today and while it is not life threatening (thank God), it IS something that I will live with forever but can take certain steps to improve my symptoms. There is a procedure I can do that will improve my condition. However, every procedure comes with risk so I am not entirely sure I am ready for that yet. Doctors always seem very willing to do “surgeries”. I’d like to try the alternatives first. But it does feel good to finally understand and know the why. It’s been a long time of not knowing and then also in the back of mind, thinking it could be serious.
