Let`s talk grumpy toddlers! It happens. Sometimes your little one is just not feeling it and that is totally okay! I will adjust.

What does that mean? Maybe your full session turns into a mini session as in this case. Maybe we need to reschedule all together. I have had this happen as well. However, I will say, that it is not something that happens often. In most instances, I can win toddlers over in some form or another. But sometimes, no matter how many games we try to play to make it fun, they just don’t want to be there and that is okay. It’s hard to know sometimes how your toddler is feeling so we have to be flexible with emotions.

Luckily, I was able to pull out just enough cute moments from this to make a mini session out of it. But, can we also appreciate her grumpy face (slide left). She was mean mugging me and it was too freaking cute!

Bonus of leaving a chaotic session, is surprising mom with the moments she didn’t think we got! Can’t wait!

I finally get to share a few more favorites from this gorgeous mini session! Mountain sessions are definitely back and I am so excited! I want to be on the mountain all day, every day! If I could move up here, I totally would.

I am hoping to have an update for you all on my schedule by the end of this month. I have been giving it some thought and while I still have a lot of uncertainty surrounding my schedule moving forward, I want to be transparent. This is probably one of my favorite mommy and me sessions to date. I could have photographed these two all day! They were the most photogenic duo and their wardrobe choices were so gorgeous!!!

I am really enjoying the slow down this year and not being able to host a mini session event. It’s just so much sweeter being able to capture 30 minutes worth of motherhood moments!

I have a full hour mommy and me session coming up at this same location and I can’t wait!!! Already dreaming up all the beautiful moments!

Today has been a really big and crazy day. I am finally getting closer to being able to share some big news. I wrapped up this session today and now I am getting ready to go get some dinner items to make my birthday boy a dinner this evening.

But first, I wanted to get this session out there in the IG universe. I need to unwind for a second after this post. So much happening in my life on a daily basis that no one sees. Really hope I can share some of it with you all soon.

Rollin into Monday like heeeeyyyy…

This is officially my new favorite kid (besides my own). His personality is incredible huge and he had us all dying of laughter yesterday. From the moment he popped out of the car, he had a lot to say, and I was totally there for it all.

We did a Mommy and Me session with his absolutely gorgeous mama that I can’t wait to share more of. I have quite a few mommy and me sessions scheduled this month and I am loving the extra time we have to shoot these gorgeous sessions instead of wrapping them up in a mini session event. Anyways, I am dying to share this session. It’s so gorgeous.

On a side note, I am totally referring to my feet from now on as my left homie and my right homie in honor of this kid! He needed a whole post dedicated to him.

Sharing more from this gorgeous session. We rescheduled this session twice due to winds. Dad ended up forgetting all his clothes he planned for this session and yet with a little help from Photoshop, we still made some serious magic. I will also forever love this location for one of the only lush green meadows in Las Vegas with gorgeous light. It is a hidden gem.
