Fall Family Portraits | Las Vegas Child Photographer

It’s that time of year again when I need to start thinking about my own family portraits. If you know me, then you know this is a difficult task for my family since once one member of our family is only with us a few weeks out of the year. So, this year, I am making it all about the boys. I have been wanting to take them out for some portraits for several weeks now, but my schedule has been insane and in between the insanity I have been dealing with cold after cold after cold. Its been a rough season. I finally had the chance to take them out the other day and I was reminded how much I LOVE shooting for myself. I really need to do it more often. I am so thankful I was able to find a little hint of fall still left in the desert. My little impromptu session with them could have gone more perfectly. Well, minus the boys trying to throw dirt on each other before we even started and the occasional rock throwing contest throughout. My boys are hams and this image, in particular, pretty much sums up their personalities in one shot.

I can’t wait to share more with you in this month’s “Letter’s To Our Sons” post. So stay tuned!
