As a Las Vegas Lifestyle Family Photographer, my passion is capturing love and emotion during a family portrait session. I want my clients to look at their portraits and really feel a deep connection to what I have captured. It is not just about sitting and smiling for a pretty picture. Its about connecting on a more intimate level with my clients in order to get to know them and create an engaging, fun experience. It is my goal that everyone (even Dad) can leave their session feeling relaxed and happy.
When a fellow photographer contacts me to take their family portraits, I feel an elevated level of stress. Every photographer has a vision in their head of how they want their portrait session to go. Let’s face it. We are extremely picky and detailed, being in the industry. So when Meghan of Portraits by Meghan Poort contacted me to photograph her family, I became instantly unnerved. However, once we started flowing during the session, I got to know a really beautiful family both inside and out and all the stress leading up to their session slowly faded into the background. How can I not love this family? Not to mention, they came dressed to impress! I cannot wait to meet up with them again in a few weeks for an in-home “Christmas inspired” Lifestyle Session.
