Maternity Sessions definitely tie neck and neck with family sessions for my favorite type of sessions. I absolutely love collaborating with expecting moms to create an epic maternity session. From dresses to location. Expecting moms are incredibly beautiful and glowing and celebrating this amazing time in their lives is so important.
Jueen is actually a beautiful photographer friend of mine and I have photographed her in the past. Well, recently I have been into sewing my own maternity gowns for clients to use and I just got done creating a new piece. So I recruited her to come out with me to a new location and photograph her in this gown.
I also told her to bring her family and we would just do an entire family session because this family moments are equally important to me rather than just getting gown solo images. She also wanted to bring one of her own gowns and so we started the session in that and changed midway into my gown. It looked so amazing on her! The location we were at was epic too!
Gorgeous gigantic Joshua trees for miles. Spring was in full bloom in the desert. The golden light flooding in throughout their session was all just so magical. This is literally one of my favorite maternity sessions ever and I cannot believe I have not shared it until right now! This is how bad I am blogging. Trying to share these stories now though!
