Creating beautiful family photography in Las Vegas does not come without its challenges. Living in the middle of a desert makes it interesting to find unique locations for portrait sessions. I am constantly on the lookout for new hidden spots! I found this location a couple of years ago and it has quickly become one of my favorite locations. It has amazing scenic views and hardly any people! The desert shrubbery is also growing on me! In fact, I prefer to shoot in a desert environment as opposed to a grassy park. The textures and tones speak to my soul.
I first met this beautiful mother when I launched my Mother’s Day Mini Session event last year at Floyd Lamb Park. After completing her mini session, she wanted the opportunity to create some beautiful family photography in Las Vegas as well. So we scheduled this session last fall and it was perfectly gorgeous! From their wardrobe to the radiant golden sun, everything was so dreamy. I love how precious her little one is too!
At first she wanted to give me serious expressions. However, with a few playful interactive queues we were able to get her smiling and giving kisses throughout their family session. This beautiful family is just so amazing to work with! I am so excited that mom has booked a spot on my upcoming Mother’s Day Mini Event again. It’s always a pleasure to watch the babies grow in front of my camera year after year. Even though this was just a mini session, it was the perfect amount of time to capture so many amazing moments!
