This is not the first time the War Family has come to me for Family Portraits. In fact, I was first introduced to them by one of my very good friends, Norina Leyde, when they were pregnant with this little man. Norina was their previous photographer but she recently moved to Washington. She set me up with this family and I was lucky enough to have done their lifestyle newborn session and help them celebrate bringing this little one into the world.
Fast forward almost one year later and I feel honored to have helped them plan this beautiful session for new family portraits to place in their home. I knew we would be getting all the fall colors at their chosen location. We worked together selecting pieces to compliment the warm palette of fall. Wardrobe is such an important part to planning your family portraits. Selecting colors and styles for the season and location helps to bring together a cohesive palette.
I could not have asked for an easier session when they showed up. Their little man is seriously the happiest baby ever! I was a little jealous since I happen to have a monster of a toddler at home myself. He gave me all the happy smiles throughout their family session. Mom and Dad were equally engaged with him. He is definitely getting ready to be on the move and its always so important to capture each milestone before the next one happens.
We captured all the love and happiness of this sweet family. I hope to continue to be a part of their lives and watch as their little one grows.
